【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesamethodforthedetectionofirradiatedfoodsusingphotostimulatedluminescence(PSL).ThetechniquedescribedherecomprisesaninitialmeasurementofPSLintensitywhichmaybeusedforscreeningpurposes,andacalibrationmethodtodeterminethePSLsensitivitytoassistclassification.ItisnecessarytoconfirmapositivescreeningresultusingcalibratedPSLoranotherstandardised(e.g.EN1784toEN1788)orvalidatedmethod.Themethodhasbeensuccessfullytestedininterlaboratorytrialsusingshellfishandherbs,spicesandseasonings[1].Fromotherstudiesitmaybeconcludedthatthemethodisapplicabletoalargevarietyoffoods[2],[3],[4].
