【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheoperationalproceduresforusingaportablearticulatedstrutsliptester(PAST)fordeterminingtheslipresistanceoffootwearsole,heel,orrelatedmaterials(testfeet)againstplanarwalkwaysurfacesorwalkwaysurrogates(testsurfaces)ineitherthelaboratoryorfieldunderdryconditions.Thistestmethoddoesnotaddressallmethodologicalissues(forexample,testsurfaceandtestfootmaterialselectionandpreparation,experimentaldesign,orreportpreparation).Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
