【摘要】:Thisstandardcontainsminimumrequirementsforthedesign,installation,andmaintenanceoffoam-watersprinklerandspraysystems.Thesesystemsshallbedesignedwiththerequireddensityforeitherfoamorwaterapplicationasthecontrollingfactor,dependingonthedesignpurposeofthesystem.Itisnottheintentofthisstandardtospecifywherefoam-watersprinklerandsprayprotectionisrequired.Thedeterminationofwherefoam-watersprinklersandspraysystemsarerequiredshallbemadeinaccordancewithsuchapplicablestandardsasNFPA30,FlammableandCombustibleLiquidsCode,andNFPA409,StandardonAircraftHangars.Thisstandardshallapplyonlytosystemsusinglow-expansionfoam.
