【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversreinforcedconcretepipeintendedtobeusedfortheconveyanceofsewage,industrialwastes,andstormwater,andfortheconstructionofculverts.1.2ThisspecificationistheSIcompaniontoSpecificationC76.Note18212;Thisspecificationisamanufacturingandpurchasespecificationonly,anddoesnotincluderequirementsforbedding,backfill,ortherelationshipbetweenfieldloadconditionandthestrengthclassificationofpipe.However,experiencehasshownthatthesuccessfulperformanceofthisproductdependsupontheproperselectionoftheclassofpipe,typeofbeddingandbackfill,controlledmanufactureintheplant,andcareandinstallationconformstotheconstructionspecifications.Theownerofthereinforcedconcretepipespecifiedhereiniscautionedthathemustcorrelatethefieldrequirementswiththeclassofpipespecifiedandprovideinspectionattheconstructionsite.Note28212;AttentioniscalledtothespecificationforreinforcedconcreteD-loadculvert,stormdrain,andsewerpipe(ASTMDesignationC655M).
